Resources for you and your patients

It is best for patients and providers to learn as much as possible about all treatment and potential clinical trial options. There are many patient advocacy organizations that focus on educating patients, caregivers and providers on retinal conditions and therapy options, which should be considered before deciding whether to volunteer for a clinical study. You can research the organizations linked below or refer your patients to them to learn more.

Patient Advisory Council

Clinical research is not possible without patient volunteers. Beacon Therapeutics is committed to easing the burden of enrollment. Beacon Therapeutics has established a Patient Advisory Council (PAC), which is made up of advocates either living or caring for someone with an IRD. In partnership, the council has provided valuable insights about the unique journey and experiences of living with IRDs that have helped us create patient centric protocols and study materials for all age groups.
